Helping You Be Your True Self
How Does Shadow Work Work?
Every person is different. Every session is different. Here is what you need to know.
It's holistic and all natural. No drugs. No side effects.
Results are typically fast and permanent.
Benefits can show up throughout your life. It's not symptom relief.
You don't have to know what's wrong to heal it.
You don't have to believe anything to benefit.
What Is Shadow Work?
When you’re spinning your wheels, sick and tired of being sick and tired, and just need a change, it’s time for a breakthrough session.
When you’re stuck, nothing is working, you don’t know what to do, and you know something’s got to change, a breakthrough session gets you beyond that stuck place.
Who is it for?
Since a shadow work session is great for most people, it’s more useful to talk about who it’s NOT for.
Who is it NOT for?
A shadow work session is not a replacement for someone who needs trauma therapy. If you don’t trust, can’t be honest with yourself or me, have to know how everything works before you are willing to try it, or want to control the process, this is not for you.
It will work, but since we only have 25 minutes, we will spend all our time focusing on those issues instead of releasing the thing you want to leave behind.
How many sessions will I need?
It’s hard to tell. Problems are like a Jenga tower. If we pull out the right block, it all comes tumbling down quickly. Something positive happens in every session. Cumulative sessions create even greater change. However, if you have one issue, we can typically resolve it in a single session.
What changes will I notice?
Results will vary from person to person. Some people have dramatic results from a single session. Some have more subtle shifts. Most become more self-aware, decisive, and happier. Some get worse before they get better because awareness illuminates other things that they didn’t want to face. If you keep going long enough, it always gets better.
Is this something I can do alone?
Your self-awareness increases as you do shadow work, but it’s a lot easier to work with someone else. They are objective and dissociated from your issues. It’s also hard to be in the thinking place that you need to guide yourself and the experiencing place where change happens at the same time.
